Painted the original chrome emblem ring obp, now waiting for it to cure.

And sanded my window switch panels too early. Acrylic Laquer by duplicate color takes forever to cure, it's been a week!!!!!

Finished the install of my mudflaps. Started late last night and got tired after installing the driver's side. finished up the passenger side today and realized I needed to move some washers around. You'd think Rally Armour would create better diagrams for their kits. Nah.

pulled the ebay roof spoiler off. LA heat and 3m tape don't agree.

vinyl wrapped silver spoke on steering wheel with matte black. the glare off that thing is brutal. gloss black would have done the same thing.

Just make sure they're tight after it's set. First 2 times I thought they were tight and the shifter slid up while trying to change gears. Crank those MFrs down. I also chose to remove the foam insert under the boot, it kept wanting to pop it out of 2nd, 4th, and R at the 2nd lowest setting. No problems now for 2.5 yrs.

Took it to a shop to smoke test after a P0172 code and bogging problems. They cleaned the MAF and it's running perfect now. Saved me $50.

I thought about tinting it red, like a chrome red to match the overlays. Decided on the obp for match

I wrapped my shifter boot trim with 3M 1080 carbon fiber. Love the way it turned out.

Today, drove it to work. But in the next several will have some parts installed, just waiting on delivery of last part tomorrow, and try to find a day where I can take my car to the shop.

Mocked up the grill and made sure the mesh will be snug with the backing trim/mold. Trimming and bending the aluminum has been the time consumer here, and when the mounting brackets break because they're plastic... well it sucks lol. But you've got to get it done!

Securing it now. Will need to figure out what the best primer for aluminum is and make a that purchase, then hit it with some flat black and matte clear.

Any suggestions for good aluminum primer and durable matte clear coat?

So, its been a while; but I finally got time to install the Mishimoto FMIC
I bought last year in my 2005 Baja Turbo.
Fits well, minor cutting only, and cools the intake charge 35 degrees.

Installed USR aftermarket headlights. Car looks way different, definitely still getting used to it.

Oil, trans and diff fluids changed today. Didnt jump on the "insert brand here" bandwagon though.
