I had a '14 XV, loved the car. Just couldn't abide the lack of power any longer.

Traded it in for a '15 WRX STi base in Silver.

53 never felt so good...

35 with a '13 DGM WRX stage 2. Never had a car that was this fun before. Got it in April of 2013.

33... and just picked up my first Subie, a '15 WRX on 11/28. Came from a 7 year old 2006 Scion tC w/ 131,000 miles and a 1993 Nissan 300ZX before that.

31 '15 STi - Last cars were '13 M3, '11 335i, '09 WRX.

Missed the boxer rumble, plus the 2 door M3 wasn't really working with an 8 month old :-)

38 with a stage 2 2014 WRX. I could afford a lot more car, but no car up to $70K is worth it, IMO. I am digging that new Alfa Romeo though...

I'm 33 and just bought my first WRX. It's my third subie. Had a 2010 Impreza and recently traded in my 2014 Crosstrek.

I'm 36 and I just bought my 1st Wrx. I'm stage 2+ now and plan on full stage 3 in the spring. Love the car and being able to toy around in my spare time.

Just turned 60 (help). Sold my 04 STi and bought a Bentley Turbo R - MISTAKE MISTAKE MISTAKE !!!
Now sold Bentley but have to drive wife's Outback unless weather is co-operating. Then I have a RWD street demon, a '70 Morgan Plus 8 ex road racer. However I have a couple old cars for sale and either will give me enough to buy a couple new STis.
To quote my late 80 year old neighbour, bless his soul "you are only as old as your feel" and passed away in his 40 year old girlfriends arms or similar situation. Had to cremate him, something about a smile and trouble closing the coffin!
Life is damn good and an order will be placed as soon as I sell one of these Rolls.

Can someone explain the fascination with stages? I'm 340/361 at the wheels with a HTA71 on pump gas. That's stage 3? Stage 4? 5? The car has been protuned 3 times in 23k miles, does that add to the stages? Do exterior parts help? Gauges? Does my thule box subtract from lost gas mileage?

It was Cobb's way of marketing certain combos of mods when the Acessport came out. Mild bolt ons, nothing crazy. They did great job I guess..... everything is "stage x" lol I'm even guilty in my own build thread..... to my defense it's the name of the tune hahaha

I am 67 and had a WRX for three weeks five years ago. Great fun. Too bad I had to give it back.

i know. i just don't understand the usefulness of calling a car a stage when it is inconsistent/inaccurate. It does little to help understand the specifics of mods, power, tuning, etc. I guess it is a starting point for OTS maps but that is scary in it's own right, just spend $ on an etune.

end rant

I highly recommend the 2015 WRX. Purchased mine in June after 10 years in an Altima. Loved the Altima but liked the AWD and performance of the WRX. I chose the base model 6-speed with one option: STI Short throw shifter.

1st post here

1st time Subaru owner... I pick up the car the end of this month. I'm 31 years old and my first baby boy is on the way in April. This is the reason for getting a new car, I currently have a truck that won't work the baby seat.

2015 Subaru WRX Limited CVT with too many options.. I'll make a thread and post some pictures when I get it

Previous cars:

Oh...I forgot to express how much I can't wait to get out of a truck and back into a car that can take a turn. Quite a lot.
