Check out this thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...lacement+4+pot

a few other things I learned in the process (if you didn't know already):

-if you are doing rotors too, and they are stuck on, you can put some screws into the 2 threaded holes in the rotor to help break it loose from the hub

-be very careful with the pin spring (holds the pins in)... very easy to break/bend

-don't trust the guy at your local auto parts store to get you the right parts... I came home thinking I was all set to go and was just about to replace the pads when I noticed the ones I purchased were for 2005-earlier (non-4-pot). Further research revealed the rotor wouldn't fit either. Unfortuneately the store was closed for the weekend once I noticed this.

-avoid letting air in through the M/C or you could run into issues with the ABS pump.

Default Rear Strut Mounts and Stablizer links

can anyone post how to replace the rear strut mounts and stabilizer links??..the Subaru dealership wants to charge me about $600 for the job. I rather just buy the parts online and do it myself

no problem, maybe I work in Shelton so I'm up and down 58 every day. I think I saw you driving a lil while ago, waved, but no reply

Actually a week or two ago when it was nice out I think you and someone else who owns the s2k were outside with both hoods popped. I noticed as I had to slow down a ton for a slow moving bus in front.

I have a '94 Impreza L 1.8l, 2WD and I was wondering if there was any info on putting a sway bar on the rear end. I know there are kits and such for AWD Impreza's but I'm having trouble finding any info on 2WD's. Thanks.

I'm not sure if there is any info out there. Its not something I recall seeing anywhere. I might have to do the same thing on a rally car build I'm helping a friend with. The best I can figure is that we'll need to weld some brackets in place and probably need to use wagon rear lateral links.

Hi there, i have a 03 WRX with a bad power steering pump (it is leaking, and making a lot of noise). Does anyone have a writeup handy? (i searched, and will continue searching )

dealership wanted 800ish dollars for this, i figure it can't be that bad

Thanks in advance for any help.

I've never seen one. I'm pretty sure any '02+ power steering pump will fit your car. You can occasionally find them for sale in the classifieds for ~$100.
