Sorry for bringing this back from the dead, but can you do me a solid and do an E tune on mine? If so, how much would it be, it's an 09 Impreza 2.5i, with uel, catless midpipe (modified stock midpipe), wrx cat back, I can retain the rear O2 sensor if needed, and can get you a map emailed in a couple weeks

Your best bet is to reach out to them at https://phatbottituning.com/

When this thread was started I doubt they had this site.

Hey I am new to the whole tuning and modification process. I recently got a 09 legacy 2.5i.i want to upgrade it with exhaust system air intake etc. I was wondering if my car would be able to get an open source tune and if so, should I install all the modifications to my car first then get a tune? Or can I just get a tune done first and then gradually install parts? Sorry I'm pretty new to all this lol.

Open source tunes normally include revisions.

So you'd install your parts and flash a base map that the tuner provides.

Then you drive around while logging whatever parameters the tuner asks for and provide that data back to the tuner.

The tuner interprets the data and makes adjustments to the tune etc.
