Default 08 Power steering pump replacement

Hello all , I was wondering a couple questions in regards to replacing the power steering pump for my 2008 WRX . First , is there any type of aftermarket brand I should get for replacing my pump and also is it a difficult task ? I've been watching videos of replacing it but it was done on a 07 WRX which looks to be pretty similar to the 08 models .

Since not a single reply was added for 5 years, I will say this. Subarus are primarily better off with factory parts. Certain parts are satisfactory, but not OEM. If you do use aftermarket, make sure it's from a reputable manufacturer. Do your research of that specific part and see if there are any drawbacks. Some aftermarket companies use cheaper metals and they breakdown over time and cause failure to other parts.

Now as far as the ps pump...either OEM or a very good aftermarket (which I haven't really come across).
