Looking for some help with steering wheel reinstall
Looking for some help with steering wheel removal and Install.....
After reconnecting the battery and cranking up I had the hill assist, ABS and traction control lights all on and the orientation of the wheel was off. Went back through what I did and quickly realized I did not realign the clock spring. I believe I was able to do realign this successfully, (ribbon was intact) and cranked the car back up and all three lights (hill assist, ABS and traction control lights) went off and have stayed off BUT when they went off my airbag light came on and still is on. I tried squeezing the harnesses under the front seats, but no luck. So at the the moment the orientation of the steering wheel is still slightly off. And the other lights (hill assist, ABS and traction control lights) have remained off but the Airbag light remains on. I was wondering 2 things: (1) is the light still on b/c the orientation isn’t quite right; (2) does this light possibly just need to be reset with the proper scan tool? Any and all thoughtful advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Year and model would be helpful. It's not just the alignment being off that would turn on the Airbag light. It could be that it just needs to be reset, but it could be something else in the wiring/ connections.
