Default How do you like your STI eng & pitch mounts?

I'm thinking of making these my next purchase. I'm running Cobb Stg 2 and I don't want to stray to far from their suggested mods so I would like to do some other little things to improve my car.

Which ones did you do (Eng,Pitch, both)?
Did you do the tranny mount at the same time?
How much did they run you?
How did the install go?
How did they make the car feel and handle different?
How different is the NVH now?
Would you do it again?

Only did Group N engine and tranny mounts, both at the same time. Didn't do the pitch stop since others locally claimed it only increased NVH, without a real benefit to "feel". Can't remember how much I paid, it was almost two years ago.

The install went fine, if not a bit time consuming, because I had to reinstall an engine mount with the stock metal plates in place. Do yourself a favor and get a ratcheting closed-end wrench for the engine mounts. Makes getting the bottom nut on each MUCH easier. I'd say for someone with moderate experience, allow a couple of hours. I'm sure the experts can crank 'em on fastar...

How does the difference feel? Much less bucking when letting off the gas (no more stop-and-go whiplash), more positive shifts (I have the SPT short shifter as well). It's the one mod I can feel every time I drive the car.

NVH was a little, and I mean a LITTLE bit worse for about a week or so until they settled in and heat cycled. Now NVH is back to maybe 1 or 2% over stock levels and has stayed there for over a year-and-a-half.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

1) engine/tranny, NOT pitch
2) yes.
3) ~200 iirc.
4) little time consuming but not too bad. watch they way the stockers come out and replace them similarly.
5) feels much better.. .more connected. stock mounts seem like marshmallow to me.
6) more cabin noise from the transmitted vibrations. it's a good thing.
7) absolutely.

I did the engine, pitch and tranny mounts all in the same day. The install wasn't too bad and outcome is OK. Much less vibration overall. I actually did the setup to alleviate a rattling in the downpipe, but it didn't work anyway.

I have the engine and tranny mounts..

Didn't do the pitch stop.

I love them. Definetely a more solid feel, and shifting is alot less sloppy.

I'd do it again.

If you want my help to do them, you'll need to upgrade to a floor jack, 4 real jackstands, and a better tool set!

They make the car feel badass! The added NVH is welcome, especially the throb from the engine at idle.
