Default 2004 Morettes.. pics!

Well well well, it seems the Morettes for the 04's are out, and i found a few pics

Prototype Morettes?

Another prototype shot?

Official Morettes?

Are these the finals?

Well, as you can see there are two differant pictures, im assuming the flat black ones are the finals. Personally I feel the light placement on the prototype ones is a bit more appealing, as well as the housing itself, the final housing seems to sculpted.

I think they should have taken the prototypes and made them projectors, and they'd be perfect, but, what do you guys think?

The price is up there, but its not excessive, $650 for the pair, im sure the stock ones cost somewhere around 300/each.

Well, what do you guys think?

I think the painted ones are the final version and look a lot better than the flat black ones.

i came to my conclusion that the painted ones are not the final because im almost certain that the silver car is the CC-B car, with the finals, however, when you click on the morettes link to purchase, it shows the blue one, i wish the blue ones were projectors though, if the blue ones are in fact the final, i dont see myself purchasing them ever, i was looking for projectors, not another set of reflectors, the 04 headlights are a little better in my oppinion than the morettes... hmm

The silver car has been around awhile and those black lights were the first morette style light produced for the new style. Since I've never seen the painted ones before and they are shown when you go to check out I have to assume they are the final version since that is what's being sold.

I could be wrong, though.

Yeah, what he said.

To clarify. The silver car has Orciari lights (with projector low-beams) and the blue car has Morettes (with reflector low-beams).

If the final production version of the Morettes for 04 are still reflectors that's too bad, especially since the prices I've seen for them are at least as high as the earlier projector versions. If the Orciaris are the only alternative for now that are true projectors I'd go with those. I'm sure they can be painted body color as well and would then look a lot better than in that pic.

Where can I get those fog lights that are on the blue car? They have to be better than the useless stock fog lights on the 2004.

They would be the JDM fog lights.

I love my 2002 morettes with projectors -- that was one of the key points for me going with morette. Why on earth would they sell the 2004's without the option of projector lamps?!

I think they might both be production sets... remember how many different versions there are for the 02/03s??? Not unlikely that a few different people are working on something for the 04s now too... I like the bule ones better, but they would have to have projectors for me to be interested...

I would love something like the 02/03 JDM/EDM projector lights for the 04s... The same shape and outer lens with the projector beam in the housing with HIDs... That would be awesome...
