I'm 24, but I turn 25 in May, and I suspect that if I'm getting it, it'll be in summer...but I still need to see MSRP, and since I'm buying a house in 2-3 months, the STi could have to wait.

I'll tell you if you have no time for a job, ebay is the way to go. I'd buy wholesale from an electronics warehouser, (online), then sell on ebay for over 50% profit, that's how I got the WRX. One more piece of advice: not all get rich quick schemes are bs, some really work! The only problem with being 19 and owning an STi will be dealing with outrageous insurance rates, especially if your record isn't exactly clean.... don't speed at night!!

i plan to have one by the time i'm 25

i'll have finished my schooling and have a job in marketing, and i'll claim it as a business expense, because i gotta keep up apperances, and what cooler car to show up to pick up a client than a modded out sti, unfortunately that means i'm gonna have to keep it kinda quiet.

oh yeah i'm 20 now...

Well then count yourself lucky. I don't know how it is on the west coast but here in Atlanta those that haven't been laid off are lucky to start at $15 an hour in a help desk and that is WITH some expereience.

Fortunately for me I went through that phase almost 10 years ago and now I am in senior networking positions.

28, but I'm number 40 on the list, and I'll be 29 in September, so I'll probably be 29 when mine comes in.

Thats a ridiculous premise to the ability to make a purchase of this gravity! I am a senior Unix systems administrator for a large corporation in Silicon Valley making six figures and I dont take a $35,000-40,000 ( dont forget tax/doc/licensing fees ) expense lightly, neither will financiers. This is a wonderful wish mobile but I find it hard to believe that all these young heads are within the top 5 list'ees at their local dealership let alone carry the liquid funds to purchase, maintain and insure a MY04 STI; though I hope you are all able, for the air in the STI is sure to be better than anywhere else on the planet, outside the Basilica Cistern on a 49 degree C. August day in Istanbul, and that is something you dont want to miss!

Oh, I'm 33 and will buy one; though tomorrow will see practicality get the better of me again. Hopefully my alternating self advice will be in favor come decision day. Gotta' keep the track rex even if I bail on the my 02 street project car...
