Blue, of course

Default anyone tap into shift indicator light circuit yet ?

Hey guys,

Has anyone tried to tap into the OEM dash shift light to wire up
a second external light ? Is this even possible ? I thought I'd
mount one into the A-pillar gauge pod I'm installing to make it a
little more visible when you are keeping your head up during
spirited driving manouevers.

All the indicator lights on the instrument panel are LED's not bulbs (like the wrx)

I don't know what that translates as far as voltage, but the normal bulbs (wrx) are like 14v 1.5w or something like that.

Sounds like you could probably do it, but you may have to run separate power to your light and use the rev light lead to a switch, inline with the power supply to your aux. light.

I don't know though. Good luck. Let us know how that works out. sounds like a good idea though.
