Talking "I am an idiot!"

This thread is dedicated to those who guessed wrong on the US-spec STi displacement.

For those who guessed that it will be 2.5L, but guessed wrong, repeat: "I am an idiot!," 2000 times.*

For those who guessed that it will be 2.0L, but guessed wrong, repeat: "I am an idiot!," 2500 times.*

* = one repetition per cc.

Bob

Good idea, except if it's a 2.5 Zola Rex said he would wear a cherry blossom red dress for a week. His penance if it is a 2.5 is to post a picture on this thread of him wearing that dress......

That I did. I can definitely manage to get a pic of myself in a dress, but I'll have to see if any of my female friends have pink ones!

Default "I am an idiot" times 2500

I am just using compression ;-)

Wow, what a surprize. I am not so sure that I want such powerful car as my first AWD vehicle, insurance rates are going to be interesting too.
I wonder how many people will be able to afford it.

Speaking of insurance - you think the industry will watch the STi / EVO closely and only put a crazy premium after a few collisions, or just be an arse and set an insanely high premium right from the get go like they did in HK? That might be the deal breaker if the premium is just too high - I don't know about you guys, but up here in BC, insurance is getting messy by the day.

So nobody other than Zola Rex ready to step up and say "I am an idiot"? Seems to me there were lots of folks scoffing at the mere suggestion that the STI would have a 2.5 liter motor. Where are they now? However, I won't start naming names. Hehehe

I'll say it. Even though I never committed to a prediction in public, I thought all the deuce five prophets were huffing.
