Question Put the RE-92s back on and now they feel out of wack.

I had my RE-92s stored for about two months stacked on top of each other. I put them on last night and today when I hit about 65-70 mph they start to shake like they are out of ballence. Are they screwed, or what?

I also would like to avoid the same issues with my new set of SO-3s so does anyone have any good ways to store them? Thanks for any info.
Ben

I think its better to store tires on their tread rather than on their sidewall.

I would do a visual check to see if any of the balance weights may have fallen off. Then re-torque the wheels to make sure they are seated properly. Are the tires on the front now the ones that were on the rear previously? Out of balance rear wheels sometime don't obviously vibrate until you run 'em up front. Hope this helps. If all else fails just rebalance the suckers! I don't think storage "stacked" will hurt the mighty RE92!

I did switch them front to rear, hhmmm. Ill have it checked out. Is it a good idea to rotate them while they are just sitting around, or does it matter? Thanks a lot.

I think tires would be ok stacked for a few months at a time. I've seen tire distributors store unmounted tires stacked up to 10 high. So if you have tires on rims with air in 'em I can't see how 4 stacked up would be a problem. After all, they are made to support your 3000 lb car.
