I hope all the car weasels doing this on ebay get jammed. An eye for an eye so to speak.
There was another one that was won by someone with a -2 feedback....hahaha. Also, the people who bid on this nonsense must be retarded and think that they are actually purchasing the car instead of purchasing air. |

There was one of these posted in OT yesterday, I think. Except the guy was asking for $2000 for a right to a spot. Gotta feel sorry for anyone that buys into that.

Makes you want to keep bidding with a false ebay ID and never pay up just to pay back to these chumps trying to rip people off. Hope it all blows up in their face.

I decided I would email this guy and give him a little trouble, mostly to see what kind of response I could get
> I hope you don't get sued for lying in your auction. The production numbers have not been released but 1000-1500 is about a fourth of what is being predicted. Could you please site the source of this misinformation? and the response: > Pretty strong words! I was given this information last week by the dealer I'm working with. That was an estimate that was given. If you have better information than them, congratulations. As far as the source, what is it to you? (didn't he just give me the source?) Are you the ebay police in truth in selling? Personally I hope they do bring more into the country, and I'm sure after they see the demand they will. By the way, don't you have something better to do with your time than hassle people and accuse them of lying? Go (insert bad word here, oh my!) yourself Tim! -Ebay Police |

I doubt anyone will actually pay on that auction. Even if I wanted to spend that much, I don't think I could be convinced that the deal was legit anyway. Can't imagine wanting one tha bad either.

This type of BS was tried with the new 350Z. Nissan then released notice that anyone who "bought" the "right" to buy a 350Z from another person with a deposit would NOT get a car. Why? Because, the person who pays the deposit is the one entitled to get the car. This policy from Nissan helped stop the stupidity of folks putting deposits on cars they never intended to buy but rather wanted to make money "selling" spots to some idiot who didn't know any better.
A person who makes deposit does NOT own a right to that car and thus can sell his deposit. He can buy the car and then sell it, with all the BS associated with that. I hope SOA steps up and makes it clear that deposits for the STi are from real buyers who are buying cars not just places in line which they then want to sell. Come on SOA, step up. T |
