Default 2017 WRX throw out bearing question?

I have a completely stock daily driver with 42k miles that I drive like a grandmother. I have the extended Subaru 100k warranty. I have been having a ticking noise for while that goes away when I press down on the clutch. The dealer determined that it was the throw out bearing and is going to replace it next week but I forgot to ask if they also replace the clutch with it. So I was wondering should they also replace the clutch as well? Does having a bad throw out bearing cause additional wear on the clutch and or flywheel? When under warranty, how do dealers usually handle this?

They will only replace the throw out bearing. I reckon they will use the original design bearing if they still have it laying around in the parts bin. Make sure they use the updated bearing....

At 56000 miles I have a terrible clicking again that goes away when the clutch is engaged. The dealer told me when they replaced the throw out bearing at 42000 they used the newly designed throw out bearing. Are the new designs failing just like the old ones? I'm an older driver, the car is completely stock, never tracked or clutch dumped and I mostly drive it highway miles.

Just wondering I've also heard these direct injection engines are noisy but if it's that, would the injector engine noise completely go away when you engage the clutch? Or does it sound like the throw out bearing is failing again 14000 miles later?

Default Got it back

....got my WRX back today after 17 days. I got the body shop to replace the front bumper instead if repairing it but one thing concerns me. The new clutch the dealer put on feels much lighter than the old one. Just wondering if that is normal? My old clutch had substantial tension on the clutch but this one feels super light and the travel on it seems farther. Is it possible they put a cheaper clutch on it or am I just paranoid? Newer clutches are usually stiff in my experience. Should I be concerned about this?

You should be asking these questions of the Dealer, not the internet.

No one here knows what the Dealer did. Only they do.

They replaced the entire clutch, pedal, flywheel with the newly designed parts for my model/year. They said all the new things I asked about in my prior post were normal. I'm asking here to see if anyone who has had these new designed parts installed are experiencing the same things I am.
