Bye bye SVX... soon to be WRX
Well, the day is almost here. I advertised my SVX for sale, and a very nice guy will be picking it up tomorrow. I really love that car. Kind of sad, but its served its purpose well, and since we got a dog (big standard poodle) the coupe as been getting less and less use... So, looks like we are going to save up some cash for a downpayment and get a WRX wagon sometime early next year. Its been fun all, we still have the Impreza wagon, so its still Subie power for us.

Yeah, I had the same type of situation. Great car. A real joy to drive, and drive long. They're great for touring, like they were designed to do. The coupe thing was a little cumbersome with the kids (although they didn't complain), and I got to worrying about maintenance and parts availability. Also, not enough aftermarket support for fun stuff.
I'm loving my Legacy GT, have lots of stuff available to put on it, and can get it fixed at any Subaru dealership. I've managed to 'personalize' it and get plenty of looks with it. Maybe more than the SVX. I still get a buzz when I see an SVX though. BTW- a WRX Wagon is next on my list. My boy is 13 years old, and I'll try to pass the Legacy on to him when the time comes (if I can wait that long). Rich |

Too Bad..
Hey man,
Sorry to hear of your loss.. I think we'd sell the house before the SVX.. ----Although the wife has put her foot down..claims I have never actuly SOLD a Subaru, just bought them..some sort of disease..which actually appears true.. Good luck with the GT, and Rex-to-be Later, GTW- "The smallest Subie lot in TX" |
