27.5 inch tires on stock 16 inch wheels
Gents,
I have looked it up in google but most I found were with lower offset wheels. I have my 2 inch ADF kit coming on the way and I want to keep the oem steelies (I like the base look) but I'm really not sure since I see all the guys go with aftermarket low offset wheels. Will I run into rubbing issues with stock 16 inch steelies with 27.5 tires and 2 inch lift?

That depends on which generation of forester you have, the older you go the less room there is in the wheel wells.

In that case you should be fine, I'm running a 215/70/16 tire on stock FXT wheels and a 2" lift no problem. I sometimes have very minor rubbing at full lock if the suspension is compressed in the front, and I do remember having to slightly trim my fender liners before I got trailing arm spacers. But my tire is nearly 28", so you ought to be fine with 27.5
