Transmission negative battery harness
Hello. I’ve got an 04 STI with a battery harness the I cannot figure out where to hook up the negative battery wire near my starter. I do not have the special tab that others have right above the starter. Any ideas where to connect this negative terminal?

You are missing the right angle piece that bolts behind the top starter bolt that allows you to bolt the negative harness down.

You can leave it bolted to the ground wire and that way you don't loose it. Saves time too.

Subaru only has two starter bolts and/or nuts. Top one is always a bolt - bottom one can be a bolt or a stud with a nut. If it has the stud always remember to look for the hidden bell housing bolt hiding near that stud when pulling engine/transmission.
