Default ELH vs UELH + tune

This might be a dumb question but I'm pretty new to all this and couldn't find my answer after hours of searching.

I have a 2002 wrx, stock engine, slightly larger turbo (td05h-18g) and injectors. Recently got a 6 speed trans put in and I also had my stock headers replaced with AFE Power Twisted Steel headers (equal length).

My dyno tune (mainly for the trans) is this weekend, but now having driven around a bit I actually really miss the rumble of UELH.

My stupid question(s):
1) If I go UELH (probably Tomei) after the tune, will I be screwing up the tune?
2) What kind of stress/risk would that impose on performance and longevity of the engine?

I don't track, but I'd love for my daily to be tip top.

Please don't punish my buyer's remorse.

I finally found my answer in another post. Looks like if it's an aggressive tune I should get retuned bc of the more restrictive flow of uelh, otherwise depends on the tune.
My dumbass also doesn't know how to delete this post.

Because you have a 2002, a re-tune is not as critical. Personally, I find the EL much better from personal sound perspective AND the EL will give better performance due the the restrictive nature of the UEL.

If you go to big changes, as you mentioned, then you definitely want a re-tune since you are making large changes in the parameters.

As for your dumbass, you are not as dumb as you think. You are fine.
