In retrospect it’s more headache than it’s worth unless if you’re willing to sacrifice AC lol you have much better manifold options not to mention bigger throttle body fitment with a standard set up

I'd say it looks cool as hell and opens up a LOT of space in the rear of the bay for relocated reservoirs, etc. The space thing is the big one from my perspective.
There's possibly a small improvement in throttle response and/or spool time, but I wouldn't count on anything significant. I would expect barely noticeable gains performance wise, but I could be way off, and as Homemade WRX said it depends on the previous setup as well. A well designed standard rotation setup will outperform a crappy rotated setup. |

I got a problem with the car breaking up above 30psi it drives smoothly out of boost and below 30psi. The NGK 2309 spark plugs/ OEM coil packs are all new and gapped appropriately to 0.024”. Battery 2 years old. The -10AN fragola fuel filter is new, ID2000cc injectors are new and refreshed, Walbro fuel pumps are all new, air fuel and fuel pressure are all good, no knock. I think the spark is getting too weak for high boost pressures. I may need to change out my 14 year old alternator and get a grounding kit. I will also change out my 14 year old crank sensor

The grey coils were spendy and the time so I kept my blacks and installed a ken bell boost a spark and tightened my spark plug gap down to 0.022 or 0.021 (can’t recall it was back in 2010). Never had another problem. Did the alternator fix the issue? |

Hooray for figuring out what it is - Boooo for an up-pipe leak.
Make sure to get some ceramic coating or a blanket on that new MF Last edited by K3rm1tth3fr0g; 06-23-2022 at 08:29 PM. |

Shorter and cleaner piping runs > stock config. Anything can be done, just depends on how much work you want to do. |

Car is all fixed! Turns out all my boost issues/stuttering are due to my 14 old Grimmspeed EBCS! Car is back hitting 40psi smoothly
