Yesterday I took a 3 hour lunch, then headed home to pick up my new box, P$ 3.4GHtz processor, ASUS MB, and 1gig of RAM. Spent the evening putting it together. Cut both o my index fingers. Was reminded how much I need a flashlight.

Now I'm running a diuresis experiment and am going to do some bone density measurements this afternoon.

Ok Andrea, I just handled a phone call, sent e-mail to staff regarding call, and so far this morning I have created files for a stack of records that need to be copied and sent to an expert witness, and this is on the agenda for today:

Complete records in RDJ chronology, edit, and send to expert-have secretary make copies of all new records and FedEx them

Begin the tedious task of catching up on my billable hours, lest I be kicked out on my ass because I can't justify my existence.

Right on.

I'm heading into my 1030a staff status meeting. I think I'll be the good boss today and tell everyone to take a 3p Starbucks break, on the house.

I'm just terrible at keeping up with every little thing I do, and I forget things and the software we use for it sucks and always messes up when I'm over halfway finished, or something like that. However, it is the only thing my boss has ever even half assed yelled at me about. She loves the work I do and me as a person, but she will call me on the carpet about billable hours every once in awhile because I get months behind.

So far I have gotten up, gone jogging, had 2 cups of coffee, sneezed 74 times (I'm catching a cold I think) and responded to about 10 emails. It isn't even 8:00 AM yet.

Do you work from home?

You better get some aspirin, juice, etc for that sneeze mister.

Same here.. the principle architect would be on me like white on rice about billable hours but was layed back about everything else. I finally had to just make up a log in excel and print a hard copy to keep on my desk and I would still forget!! Wow candy if you could only bill for your Nasioc time

Sometimes I work from home. Today I had to get up early and move the cars (they are shooting a movie on my street today) and then deal with the mass of emails that my parent company seems to feel are appropriate to send at 6:00AM.

Now I get to drive 55 miles to my first appointment. Joy.

I am going to take some emergen-c and hopefully kill the cold.
