WOW Look at this!!!!

That is a near direct hit!!! The whole time I have been asking for a hurricane to come to Beaufort, SC and this one seems to want to do EXACTLY THAT!!!! Amazing!!

However, if it does come that close then we will undoubtly evacuate. Hey, that's cool though.

But the bad news is that it looks like it is gonna run right up the coast of Florida again I really feel for our members down there. Hope everything goes alright for them too

Its always a direct hit when it is that far.

I'd be more worried if i where somewhere near the edge of the projected paths

What is this, #13 this year??? Man, this has to be some kinda reccord...

I swear to god, if another freaking hurricane comes, everyone dies. I'm gonna drive my damn car off a cliff. Hurricanes have stopped me from seeing my gf twice now. Been like 3 weeks since she was last here, and she got in a car accident the day she got here. Her parents drove 6 hours from GA to bring her home....and drove her car back too. Apparently someone here in Charlotte thinks we're all going to die too, because he closed I-77 for trying to jump off one of the overpass bridges.........Studid Ivan made him do it. By the way, its raining now.

People tend to do that a lot in Georgia...I guess because there is no water around to jump into so they pick the highway overpasses...

FYI The hurricanes are named in order of the alphabet. Therefore Jeanne is #10 and Karl is #11.

Now that we have that all cleared up. When they change Jeanne to that wetodded path?

No? REallY? In ALPHABETICAL order?

Yes, I know that dood. But there is also the fact that until they become a Tropical storm, they don't get a name. Tropical Depressions just get numbers until they get big enough to get a name. I think there have been like 13 TDs (or more) so far this season, but only 11 of them now have gotten big enough to get names.

Karl is a "fish storm", and Jeanne looks to be drunk or lost or something. Pssst... nobody give her a map to FL. If the latest maps are anything to go by, Jeanne may look to be a "fish storm" too... heading east?! Heh, that's not exactly usual for around that latitude.

Some weeeeiiiiird stuff going on this hurricane season. BTW, they're saying Karl is a category 4... 4th one this season, all in the span of what, 5 weeks?

Oh... TD13 is out there now... looks to be taking a similar path to Karl.

TOP 10 REASONS HURRICANE SEASON IS LIKE CHRISTMAS
10. Decorating the house.
9. Dragging out boxes that haven't been used since last season.
8. Last minute shopping in crowded stores.
7. Regular TV shows pre-empted for "specials".
6. Family coming to stay with you.
5. Family and friends from out of state calling.
4. Buying food you don't normally buy... and in large quantities.
3. Days off from work.
2. Candles.

And the number one reason Hurricane Season is like Christmas....

At some point you know you're going to have a tree in your house!

Did anyone watch the news tonight?

They said....that the cool weather we got today (Tampa) and the associated cloud cover, rain and wind were due to the same low pressure system that caused Ivan that was being dragged south by Jeanne. They said that it is somewhat possible that it may get drug back across Florida and back into the Gulf of Mexico where it is possible that it may again become a Tropical Depression / Storm

WTH??? Ivan Part 2....Freaky if you ask me....

I think Jeanne is going to wander about until Lisa comes along and merges with it, then the combined storm will head West and cross Florida (causing more destruction) and then merg with the remnants of Ivan in Gulf creating a "Perfect Storm" that will sink a bunch of fishing boats.

...man that's a good script for a movie....
