Default 2011 Subaru Impreza OBS Factory Installed TomTom Nav

There used to be an Subaru OBS.org forum that's apparently now defunct. I've a 2011 Impreza Outback Sport with a factory installed audio system that includes a detachable TomTom Navigation System. The Nav System's been acting up, and when I talk to my Subaru dealer they directly me to Tomtom, and when I talk to TomTom, they directly me to my Subaru dealer.

I've tried web searches on the part number on the back of the nav system, and only got a couple of eBay hits from other countries; and don't know if they'd be compatable (or even still work). I recall seeing some solutions on that OBS.org forum. Any suggestions that wouldn't involve replacing EVERYTHING?

That was also available as an aftermarket Eclipse headunit. Might try scouring eBay for that. But really that system was so bad just get a modern double din. Amazing what a few hundred bucks gets you.
