so what the writer, and I use that term loosely, is saying is a 300k dollar car is decent.

Okay.. LOL

Not really that hard to believe.... What 300k dollar car is not good to drive.

I'm expecting delays due to chip shortages, but I hope they will keep allocation builds on schedule the best they can, anything that is NOT an allocation build will suffer big time, probably.

I assume you mean the normal Taycan sedan, the wagons will only come in AWD.

Looks like someone in the UK got one of the 1st Cross Turismos out of the factory, at least some are being built to completion despite factory delays and parts shortages

I absolutely hate the Panamera, but I'm really digging this Taycan Cross Turismo. It's just a fantastic-looking vehicle. Probably because it looks like something brand new instead of a hacked version of something well-established.

Fully agree. It's unique and nothing else looks like it even within Porsche's own lineup. The front end is particularly striking and those 5-spoke wheels (Mission E? I believe) on the sedan are amazing especially if color matched. The Panamera looks like a pig compared to any Taycan.

The first Taycan Cross Turismos are slowly trickling out of the factory and making their way into European dealerships first, someone spotted this 4S at a UK dealership and its the same Volcano Grey color that I ordered.

Very happy with how it looks and it hides the black plastic arch cladding well. The long wait for my build order continues...

Oh my lawdy that's gorgeous. It's interesting you note the cladding because that's something I try to see if I can hide when I'm configuring various cars online. Pretty much none of them seem to be able to hide it well, but it looks like Porsche knew what they were doing as I didn't even notice the cladding in your pics until you mentioned it. I had totally forgotten.

I honestly can't wait until you get yours because I know you're going to take epic photos. Please do link your "build" thread whenever it shows up!

Man, I wish I could financially justify this as a daily driver. So much want and it looks so damn good.

When you're playing in these leagues, pricing isn't always that important a part of the decision-making process, but money doesn't grow on trees either. With Ingolstadt's Avant, you'll be spending at least $109,000 before a $995 destination charge. Fully loaded, you can easily make a $140,000-sized dent in your trust fund.

Porsche, on the other hand, is known for offering endless customization options, but even without them, the base Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo starts at a college-fund-decimating $153,500 before $1,350 for delivery. Of course, rebates will help drop this, but it's still not going to look like a bargain next to the RS6. Opt for the tarmac-tearing Turbo S and you'll pay at least $187,600. We've been playing around with the configurator and got ours to over $260,000 - and that's without even exploring the custom paint options.

Like previously mentioned, if you match power for power with a Taycan Turbo/S

The RS6 is at least $20-40k cheaper depending how you option it.

Great looking for what it is. So much nicer looking than the sedan. Just can't get over the price though.

definitely would rather have a plaid model s and a slightly used cayman than a turbo s for my 190k, not that I am a target demographic.

Maybe it needs tinted windows and different wheels, but I'm not really feeling that blue one. Also it's missing the front lip spoiler. Ed, PLEASE tell me you're getting that front lip spoiler!
