I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it had a manual, or maybe even a DCT. As is I'd probably pick something else. |

At $57,575 including destination, the IS 500 F Sport Performance isn’t exactly affordable but considering that it is almost as much power as a base M3 in the price of a Mercedes-AMG C43, the IS 500 seems like a steal. |

This thing should be fully loaded at 57.5k, past 60 is hard to justify vs an M340i.

I would buy the IS500 over all those for sure, none of those really have a stand out driving experience that would surpass the Lexus's engine. |

The only cars I can think I’d rather have are more expensive (CT4 Blackwing 6mT), or different class (next gen Type R), M2c, or Mustang Mach 1. |

I went with the Stinger since I'm "poor" lol. The mid to upper $40K was my limit. The driving dynamics are reportedly the worst out of that list but it's good enough for me. Plus its a great jack-of-all trades car. Plus the warranty since I won't be doing any serious mods (maybe sway bars and brakes), if at all. Quote:
If I'm shopping fun cars I wouldn't bother with it. I'd do Mustang or Camaro, or do slow car fast with a BRZ. If it's my daily then yeah I'd be looking at IS500 first, followed by Cadillac CT5-V and Genesis G70. But again, that's assuming I can drop 60K on the car. |

this is a sublime GT car, not a track monster. I would love to hear the roar of a V8 in something that does not have a dodge badge on it.

The sound of the V8 you can enjoy every second you're in the car. It also looks great and won't be pissing equity every mile like a dodge. |

The whole car is outdated esp. the interior. Bandaids on an old chassis to meet crash, ride quality handling and the V8. Pluses are the V-8 and it's Lexus. It's a poor choice at 65k (that's what it be at dealer, ordering ehh with chip shortage not going to happen). Buy a Vette, no back seat who cares. New Cadillac too.
