Thank you!
Finally have an update, my mishimoto radiator is finally getting delivered by next weekend, I'll finally be able to get all the things I've been itching to do next weekend:
Thermostat, housing, hose, heater hoses.
I plan on taking the front bumper off tomorrow and finally start getting that prep work done might start scuffing my paint aswell so I can finally polish it. I'm missing a 5k grit but I'll do my best.
I'll take pictures of the work I do.
I'm ready to install my fog lamps LP and new lip I ordered. o/

Then I did something silly, after replacing the motor oil, I started the car up and got 3 CE codes, p0340 p0341 iirc, cam sensor codes.
Tried to prime the oil after, took off cam sensor and one code went away, the other stayed on, did some digging and I found something iffy!

Went with a quick fix and went to Oreillys for a replacement, you will be able to see, the housing is kind of cracked, not really sure how that happened or if the original sensor was ever placed correctly by the previous owners or mechanics idk.

Bumper work! Got it for 20 Dollars, I finally got around to fixing it up(somewhat this weekend)
Step one was to make some holes and sand it down in the area needed of repair, sand inside of bumper cover aswell.

Zip tied it together to try and tighten everything up before applying epoxy

Tape up the front side so the glue doesn't go running all over your bumper after you apply it from the back side. remove tape before the epoxy full hardens!

Let it cure! dont mess with it too much, let it harden fully.

I'm missing some Photos! Will take some tomorrow to show you guys where i'm at with it after hitting it with some 220Grit.
all thats left for me to do is Body filler, sand and paint, apply new lip and foggies.

And finally i'm getting around to blocking my entire car, as the paint sprayer i used wasn't ideal but i feel the paint came out pretty well, minus all the overspray/orange peel ( to be expected) so today i got around to doing a panel, didn't finish but progress.
I used 1500Grit Wet sand paper on a hand block sold almost anywhere.

I estimate about, 30 hours worth of sanding(by hand) unless I can find some sort of wireless sanding tool for cheap as my arthritis sucks, when i spray water on the parts of the door that are smooth the pearl looks so amazing.

Has been kind of hard to attend to the bug this past week with work, and this desert heat. The bug has been acting funky, isn't responding at about 4.5k RPM, it just hesistates and jerks at essentially every gear other than 1st. I'll be taking it to the garage next week to see what they tell me, cruising speeds are fine, hopefully I didn't break anything after the weekend I had to replace the cam sensor.. going to be looking under the plastic timing cover tomorrow to remove any debris. Also going over all the clamps and tubing to make sure everything was reseated/fastened correctly, happens, hoping this is the case and the bog goes away, but from the brief interaction i had with the mechanic at the garage i had today (caught them as they were closing early) They're saying the 5spd might be going out >_> really can't afford this right now. Wish me luck. 02WRXTI here we come!

- Long post sorry guys-
So here is the car now ~
Painted bumper & Lip and the fog housing(black trim rattle can stuff), new Fog lamps and bulbs also installed QR buttons, not too happy with the Lip but looks better than before, with the damage being concealed by it haha (its a cheap 2 piece EBAY one for anyone wondering, would be nicer same style in a 1 piece application.

Still need to button up a few things >_> (a lot of things)

- The grille won't lock into place thanks to Hella horns ._.; , had an idea with bonding the 2 little white covers to the bumper so I didn't have to deal with them rattling around anymore and I can really tear down the car faster if needed.

- The CF fenders wont allow my bumper to properly seal(edges, under headlights), have to trim down the edges near the headlights (outer).
For the bumper I have to fabricate a bracket so my bumper has more of a hanger type thing to screw in so my QR keep my bumper up instead of sagging. Once this is corrected I'll finally feel comfortable with buttoning up my side skirts, and install my mudflappers and Tow Hook LP.

- Fog lights installed had to replace the 10 fuse to a 15 and they worked, quick fix.

- My fuel consumption has dropped off a lot, went from a solid 240-260 on a full tank to roughly 180-210 since my issue with the camshaft sensor incident, thinking boost leak. (going to be warranty exchanging my mishi one for a new one as i did find tears already in it)

-I've said this a thousand times now but even after having my car be looked at by an electrician (prior to tuning) its still giving me issues, I think I'll be upgrading my Alternator and Starter from one off an STI(if its worth it). Might be useful going forward with installing music and such.

Default Easy Brake job? 2002 Honda Civic LX **popcorn time**

Helped a coworker of mine change his pads ***yesterday.
He recently bought this car just to get to work etc. nothing crazy. DS went smooth no issues. PS: took off the wheel, took off the piston, took off THE BRAKE PAD. LOL I was so confused, i couldn't believe what i was seeing.
They sold my man a civic with one brake pad....

I had him park the car in the shade today and the sound it was creating was unreal... I was like I'm so sorry, but hey, take this as a win.. He initially thought his gears were grinding I was like i think your car is fine, the seller was just a kid, probably yolo'd it, 45+40core charge, not too bad, consider it a blessing and not spending 800 + on a drop and swap trans. Did the thing after work and the only thing i could tell is that he needs a new power steering pump and some pulleys + belts. I was happy to see my buddy less worried about his purchase as he has some finance issues

Alrighty, haven't posted in a while but only because I was on a mini vacation and just enjoying life a bit! On my free time I did shop around a bit, nothing too crazy.

Purchased a Boss d/d radio to replace the Pioneer d/d, hated that my pioneer only supported apple lol.
Purchased F/R Perrin Sway Bars + End links
Replaced the Starter - Helped some, but I still need to look at replacing cable and wiring everything from scratch/ looking for cracks in the wiring.
I purchased rear speakers, (doors and top deck) an amp, and a subwoofer, can't wait to install that.
I also purchased a VIPER Push To Start alarm system, hopefully not too complicated, honestly just bought it for the alarm itself.
Purchased some Shocks and some SaggyButt Spacers to help with the extra weight in the rear causing my left turns and dips to cause me to scrape/rub wheel(definitely need a proper fender roll)

Swapped out my coil packs, and installed my new headlights, need to finish grounding them correctly but Its hot out and i tapped out.
I found some bumper brackets, but to install them I need to cut away at the carbon fiber fenders and well... I need a small drill bit or something so I don't over do it, until next week ~

Disapointed atm because I am heading to CA for a few weeks and the 02 is bent out of shape!
Issue with click no crank + boost leak, terrible mpg, and now a p0171. Mishimoto Turbo inlet already crapped out, >>BIG TEAR<< down by the hose that is near the throttle body 90* into the PCV, Tried sealing it with some Silicone tape, didn't work! I Have contacted Mishimoto earlier this week and honestly aren't doing that well in the "quick turn around" department, when my radiator died, took two months and some change.. starting to get irritated tbh, If they didn't have lifetime warranty I'd probably invest my money and time somewhere else.

This weekend I focused on the click no start issue.
I replaced all fuses this weekend minus 3(big ones) Main Fuse, and some other bulky one, I believe ABS or Airbag.
Wiring:
4G: Battery + rerouted / - 4G upgraded + rerouted
4G Starter to Fuse Box
4G Alt Ground
(None of this solved my issue, but made me feel better having stronger connections(not the DIY stuff that was on there by PO))
All my Intake manifold grounds were in spec, but I'm probably going to redo these anyways, as I plan on dumping a second battery in the back to support the subs/speakers.
Last Thing I need to check is my ignition switch, and the bulkhead harness (Brown?)
Hopefully I get a lead on this matter sooner rather than later. ~
Kind of bummed out but excited to get away and go see my family for a couple of weeks, will be away, y'all take care ~

Default Just wanted to say hello.

Car is doing a lot better, I'm happy with the Hybrid Engine.
Since then I upgraded a few things, fuel lines, fuel rails, a bigger intake manifold, bigger TM Inter cooler, 1050 injectors, AOS. Got it dyno'd and tuned.

Only problem my car has been having is that my turbo is not grabbing fully all the time, nothing crazy like over-boost, or smoking. It's just not giving out 18lbs, which is okay because gas is expensive! I have been planning a lot on the next version of the build, I look forward to next year, have been planning on working intensively on it this coming winter season.

That being said, thanks all for the help along the way, I have learned so much from this forum, I still remember when I was scared taking off things like the turbo from the uppipe and such

I think a lot of good things are happening in the USA, unity is finally coming back. I believe people are finally waking up and understanding what is going on, them globalists don't stand a chance, they fear the common man who understands. I'm retired from the military now I'm a little more open and speak my mind. I have a 6month old baby now and a beautiful wife. Lot's of great things have been happening. I wish you all the best, and again thank you all for the help along the way, much love, god bless you all!
