End Balance 343.17 I cap at 385 and can carry over any amount up to the cap each year. A little less than 4 more years and my cap moves up to 465. I accrue 25 days each year. I end up taking random days off just so I don't hit the cap.

Jesus, that's nice.
They let us carry over 285 hours, but I'll never get to that. I think I'm carrying over like 12 hours this year. |

For my wedding back in June I made a batch of shell casing cufflinks. I used 9mm, .223 and Garand surplus 30-06. I have a few leftover. Would anyone be interested in them for a Christmas gift?

Have any of you guys found a good resource for form 1 cans? I think I might send off for a stamp or two for form 1 cans next year.

How's the side charger? Never shot one or even finger banged one.

Two of them are 9 mm, top left is .223 wylde. One 9mm is for competition/steel challenges, the other is a suppressor host.
The side charger is cool. It gets a lot of attention. I would never put it on a hard use gun or trust my life to it though. If that charging handle ever snapped off you would be screwed. It's nice for competition because it throws brass at like 1-2 o'clock and is easier to see an empty chamber. |

Buying American made difficult.
I'm thinking that I'll treat myself to a nice .45 cal lever action rifle and I call the 3 players, Henry - Marlin - Winchester to ask for a printed catalog to be mailed to me.
No problems with Marlin and Winchester but the switchboard dragon on duty at Henry tells me to fill out the request online. Click. They pride themselves for having everything American but they've obviously missed the hospitality part. |

Need help with an air rifle scope that won't stay put.
I have a Gamo piston air rifle that I enjoy plinking around with in my back yard. It's accurate, inexpensive, doesn't upset the neighbors, and is fun. I recently ran across an Amazon deal on a nicer zoom scope for $10. Have been really happy with it after getting it sighted in. However....it is only held in place by the mouting rail. And I can't tighten it enough to keep if from gradually sliding aft on the rail. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've stripped one of the mount clamps trying to over tighten it. The scope that came with the rifle had a small shear pin in the base that fit into a small recess in the barrel that took the recoil loads. Short of modding the new scope base, is there another typical solution? |

Kind of hard to figure out without pictures. Is it a standard piccatinny rail?
