Stumbled across this video comparing the straight line performance of the GR Yaris vs Focus RS (launch & roll race). The results were quite surprising.
*The video has English subtitles. I guess the results aren't that surprising considering the GR Yaris' 1/4 mile time is in the mid-to-high 12s vs mid-13s for the FoRS. Carwow has tested the GR Yaris on several different occasions and consistently manages 12.5 in the 1/4. That's great for a hot hatch with only "261" HP. |

Thought there was a GR Corolla thread, but don't see it.
https://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-ne...-ar192842.html Is topspeed like a torque news kinda thing? Anyhow, unsurprising bummer news. Quote:

not a huge fan of the look of the corolla hatch, but it would be hard to ignore this car if the rumored configuration comes to reality.

WTF is this ? Looks like an over sized RC car. Who the heck would buy this thing. This has to be a Monster energy sponsored publicity stunt, right ?

Your right, needs more cheap unfinished looking body cladding, a giant butt plug bumper made out of cheap plastic and a 5” lift kit… |

Try learning how to drive a stick, it is never too late. You will love it once you get a handle on it.

I’ll try to remember. The last few cars before the Supra were a C7 Z51, Shelby GT350, and Camaro SS1LE. All of them Tremec manuals. But the Supra is definitely faster than all of them.
