5 cups chopped Porcine . mushrooms, half a cup of olive oil, 3 pounds celery...

Stumbled across this video comparing the straight line performance of the GR Yaris vs Focus RS (launch & roll race). The results were quite surprising.

*The video has English subtitles.

I guess the results aren't that surprising considering the GR Yaris' 1/4 mile time is in the mid-to-high 12s vs mid-13s for the FoRS. Carwow has tested the GR Yaris on several different occasions and consistently manages 12.5 in the 1/4. That's great for a hot hatch with only "261" HP.

Thought there was a GR Corolla thread, but don't see it.

https://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-ne...-ar192842.html

Is topspeed like a torque news kinda thing? Anyhow, unsurprising bummer news.

Quote:
It seems COVID, once again, caused a highly-anticipated model to be delayed. However, according to Japan's Best Car Web, the GR Corolla was scheduled to debut in 2021, but due to COVID playing havoc with the schedule, it is now expected around June 2022. This means that the hot version of the Corolla will be delayed by about 12 months.

Tracks with what I’ve heard. Hopefully this ****show of a car market has settled a little bit by then.

not a huge fan of the look of the corolla hatch, but it would be hard to ignore this car if the rumored configuration comes to reality.

Your right, needs more cheap unfinished looking body cladding, a giant butt plug bumper made out of cheap plastic and a 5” lift kit…

Somebody’s deflecting because their precious new WRX is a disaster. I also love that your telling me to learn to drive a stick and the PoS in your signature is an automatic

Can’t make this stuff up…

Try learning how to drive a stick, it is never too late. You will love it once you get a handle on it.

I’ll try to remember. The last few cars before the Supra were a C7 Z51, Shelby GT350, and Camaro SS1LE. All of them Tremec manuals. But the Supra is definitely faster than all of them.
