Default Excel won't stop scrolling - MS and Google have been useless

Just thought I'd throw it out here to see if anyone has an idea.

If I open excel, it just scrolls on it's own to the right. I have unplugged (removed the batteries) from both the keyboard and the mouse. it's only in ms excel.

Despite at least 10 people posting the issue at Microsoft support, the answer they give is "it must be your keyboard and Mouse". Help rating is -100 from all.

Google results haven't been any better.

Anyone have any ideas?

Turn the screen upside down and it will start to reset the scroll.

Are you opening a file, or just firing up excel? It will go to where the cursor was when it was saved.
