GTX3584RS How does this log Look?
I have a 2016 EJ25, engine is built with all the common parts for 800whp+ variable being cosworth intake, GSC S2 Cams, and killer B equal length, GTX3584RS Gen II 0.83 AR, tuned on e85. Car runs great, no real complaints on drivability outside of the EGT's seem very high to me for a car running on alcohol and it feels more laggy than it should be even given the the turbo that is on it.
My initial thought is timing, for both concerns but I only have basic knowledge on parameters like that, and don't know what I should be seeing on something this powerful and on Ethanol. Any input is appreciated https://datazap.me/u/jimmyrepasi/log...0&data=6-15-24 https://redirect.viglink.com/?format...Fusp%3Dsharing

It definitely spools on the later side, did you start the pull in third gear and shift into 4th, i assume so according to the log? It would help if you were able to log your intake and exhuast avcs settings assuming you are still using avcs since that can have a really big affect on spool. As for timing, that can vary but looks to be fine for E85 looks like its running a maximum of about 23ish degrees at 8k. How high are the egts? Also what is your air/fuel ratio in boost?

Ill love the AVCS next time. The egts are high, the sensor itself is located in the collect of the killer b equal length manifold and when I went to monitor them they would be 1300-1400 while cruising and the first pull reached 1750F then the sensor went open. A/F seems to be decent for ethanol, I have the Visconti cable so it is logged here as the rear o2, I just don't know how to accurately scale it to Lambda to really understand it |

I agree, and all of what you said is inline with the research I have done. I will try to get a log with the AVCS monitors on so we can see what they are doing during all of this.
Any thoughts how to interpret that rear o2 monitor as air/fuel? Using this chart my logs look to be very close to where it should be Quote:

Do you have a gauge inside the cabin for a wideband? Looking at your voltage values for the rear o2, using that chart it puts your afr at about mid 13s gasoline afr. If that’s correct then it’s running too lean, most tuners who tune e85 will target high 11s in gasoline afr, some tune for low 11s.

Thanks for all the input. Looking at the chart it and comparing to the voltages ive logged it looks like the Air/fuel ratio is just about 8.4:1 for e75-ish it seems to be right about where it should be, no?

Too lean, it should be closer to 7.3 ethanol afr
