Thumbs up RSD is a great company

Since we are giving RallySportDirect props, I gotta drop a line. These guys have come through for me and my bud on a bunch of occasions, offering AWESOME pricing and free shipping over 200 bucks? Thats not hard given the crap we buy!

And yes, they are EXCELLENT when it comes to APS stuff. Very smart guys too. I dont shop anywhere else actually hehe.

Nick, Rick and Ben are the guys I talk to - not sure if there are more. But thanks to them!

- Tony

Be sure to ask them for a shirt - kinda like a Williams F1 team feel to it.

I have ordered most my parts for my STI from RallySport Direct. They have a very wide selection of parts in just about every category. Every time I have ordered from them, I can expect the part within 2 or 3 days, and I live in So Cal. I would highly recommend using them.

I just received an order from Rallysport Direct for the APS Turbo Inlet Hose, Cobb rear swaybar endlinks, and Cobb Streettuner... they did accidentally mis-ship me some 02wrx brakepads as well, but i'm getting that squared away with them now...

Thanks for the quick service and good stocking of premier parts!

Subaru Stars Problems with Rally Sport Direct

We have a State Meet this weekend so over a month ago I ordered Cobb Stage one Suspension from them. I got the stuff and they told me they did not have it in stock like the website said. So they hooked me up with the Cobb mounts for super cheap and send me that package. Then I got the sway bars and I took my stock bar off and went to put the new one on. It was too long; they sent me a STi bar. So I put my stock bar back on and called and they were cool. I had to pay to ship it back. So they got the bar back and were like this bar has scratches on it. And I was like yeah I was going to install it.. So they were like ok we will send you the right bars but it is going to be one that has scratches on it like yours did. I got my new bar and it was used!! I paid $544 for this stuff!

It had rust on the mounting holes and was all scratched. But I was like ok who cares it is going to get messed up anyway; it’s not a show part..

So I took my stock bar off again and looked at the Cobb bar and the damn thing was too long again! They sent me another bar for the STi!! So again I had to put my stock bar on! I'm so pissed! I feel like a damn pro sway bar remover!

I've had 4 orders through them. 3 of my own and 1 for a friend and all parts have been received just as I ordered them. They were even helpful when I needed the parts shipped next day so I would receive them prior to a tuning session. If you think this is poor customer service, you obviously haven't been around enough to have dealt with JCSports when they were in business.

I'm not flaming away over your experience. I can see where you would be upset and I probably would want the questions as to why you have had a problem as well.

Luckily they did go outside of the normal practice to try and make the wrong parts right after you tried to install it. Most companies would have sent the STi bar back to you and told you that you should have inspected the bar more closely prior to install.

Technically after you put scratches on it and tried to install it, you sent it back to them used. So they sent you one that was like it. Totally justified. And since when does the STi suspension stuff not bolt up to a WRX?

The Sti bar is longer that the WRX bar.

They were super nice through the entire process. It just sucks they got my order wrong. Also the second bar they sent me had rust on it. Not minor scratches like the one I sent back.. I’m not saying the guys were pricks. I was just saying I expected my order right.

Question Your rally sport expereience is NOT typical

I do not want to under emphasize what happened to you. That definately sucks. I'm a little shocked though, becasue these guys are great. They've come through for me on at least 5 occasions, and are always easy to talk to.

Who were you working with? If you didn't speak with Nick, call them up and tell him whats happening. He owns it, and is a great guy.

I do wish you the best of luck in getting things resolved. It is a little lesson though, that you should double check parts prior to removing old and trying to install new.

Good luck! Hope I didn't upset ya.

Plus, if you look at the instructions, the endlinks mount on the inside of the COBB bar, not on the outside of the bar like stock. It is wider than the stock bar on purpose.

Hey I wanted to let everyone know Rally Sport Direct and I got everything worked out and I got all the right stuff. I was never saying they have poor customer service. Everyone I talk to at Rally Sport Direct was super nice. We got all our issues resolved and I would order from them again. Thanks again Nick for the follow up call!

Congratulations, RSD has always been the company with superior service. I have never heard bad things from their customers. When I’m ready to purchase my parts; they have my business.

Just ordered a gauge pod from them, and will be ordering much more in the near future. Great people to deal with. We had a mix up with shipping, but it was easily corrected with one phone call. Hats off to you guys, keep up the good work.

I ordered the Invidia turboback exhaust from them. Took like 4 days for the exhaust to arrive and came with everything I needed. I've had a very postivie experience with them.

These guys really are becoming the #1 source for automotive goods. I truly hope they keep the AIM thing going, that shows just how faithful they are to their customers, and other companies should take note of it. I've never had to call Nick requesting part info because he ALWAYS responds on AIM.

Keep up the excellent work guys, I look forward to your inevitably successful future.
