GA 2005 Subaru WRX limited STI 6-spd Rotated Big Turbo, FMIC, $$$
2005 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited. 180k on chassis odometer. Fresh engine build w/ 45k on JDM EJ206 motor (have receipts). Interior: has power windows/locks, power sunroof, heated seats, pioneer double din stereo, upgraded speakers, gauges, heat/AC work very well, working keyfob for locks w/spare key and owners manual. Overall in very clean condition. Rear glass could use fresh tint. Motor/Transmission swap: The motor is a freshly swapped EJ206 (TT legacy motor, non AVCS) on a big rotated turbo setup w/ all corresponding mods. ETS FMIC kit, 1050cc injectors, Tial wastegate+turbo housing, AMS rotated pipe kit, V-band pipes+clamps, all the nice stuff! Runs very well, super healthy. Holds boost @18psi, very fast! Chassis/Body: Full suspension upgrades. Handles like its on rails. Huge Stoptech brakes in front and STI conversion in rear. Adjustable Tokico struts on race comp yellow springs. Fresh bushings throughout. Wheels are 18x8.5 Rota SVN 5x100 with fresh 245/45/18 tires. ENGINE: 6spd STI transmission swap w/ R180 diff 500hp axles ACT 6puck clutch + ACT flywheel rotated Garrett GTX3071R turbo Tial V-band turbo exhaust housing Tial MVR 44mm wastegate AMS rotated turbo up/down pipe kit ($RARE$) Forge recirculated BOV ETS rotated front intercooler kit Grimmspeed BCS Tanabe concept G titanium exhaust Cosworth AOS v2 Cusco engine mounts STi pitch stop mount Walbro 255 fuel pump Injector Dynamics 1050cc injectors TGV deletes Grimmspeed phenolic spacers NGK spark plugs (one step cold) New coilpacks SUSPENSION/DRIVETRAIN: 2006 STI 6-spd 2006 STI R180 diff STI steering linkage Tokico D-spec adjustable struts Tokico rear adjustment extensions Race Comp yellow springs Rear camber bolts Whiteline Max-C camber/caster plates Whiteline steering rack bushings Whiteline ALK Cusco 22mm front sway bar Cusco 22mm adjustable rear sway bar Kartboy rear endlinks Tanabe strut tower bar Stoptech ST40 front brakes Stoptech 328mm front slotted rotors STI rear brakes calipers + rotors Stainless brakes lines front/rear So much more... will add to list when time allows. The car has been to DBW motorsports and is professionally tuned. I specifically asked the tuner to keep it on a low boost level for long term reliability. This rotated setup can easily make 500whp with a built shortblock. The swap is less than a month old and was done at a professional racing shop with no expense spared. All the work on this car is very clean and done right, to the highest standards. No garage/storage unit build quality here.

May want to include mileage and a price. You know, the important parts of selling a car.
You have everything but that. |

Well... this ad has been up for a few days now and received pretty decent attention.. I'd like to ask for some feedback if anyone would have anything to share. Comments? Thoughts? Anything to help the sale? I know this is kind of a one-off frankenstein setup, not many folks invest this much into a WRX... but I bought the car at a giveaway price while it needed some work done. So I fixed what it needed and upgraded the turbo setup at the same time. I decided to keep the wiring as simplified as possible (hence non-avcs EJ206) and that definitely helped keep stock-ish driveability with all the OE functions like cruise control. Before anyone starts hating on the dyno numbers.. there's a ton of meat on the bone! The first dyno session came out to just under 350awhp and 320awtq on 93oct. pump gas w/ stock MAF. And oh my god what missile it was! E85 would be make HUGE power if that's available in your area. Oh, and is the embedded YouTube video player working ok? |

You're welcome to come by and check it out, area code 30513. Let me know and we can set up a time. As far as emissions go, I really don't know. My area does not require emissions so it's never been an issue. I did tell the tuner to leave the decel-throttle slightly rich for those lovely pops and grumbles.. lol. Test pipe and retune?

If you've been on the fence about buying a built WRX w/ a big turbo setup and STI 6spd, now would be the time to make a move. I've dropped the price to the bottom dollar for a very short time. I'm making plans to take the car into a body shop to have some minor paint and cosmetic work touched up, which is about a $1,500 bill. After all that is completed the price will go back up.

So that would mean that most people are looking at these to be mostly stock cars to mod themselves? And prefer a stock to OE pedal feel? It may be a unsprung 6puck, but once you get used to it its really not bad at all. Not like a multi-disc where its a on/off switch. |

Please do keep it in mind that as desirable as this may be, inflation is at ATH, interest rates are increasing every month, federal minimum wage is still the same as it was 40 years ago, landlords are increasing rent by 50% in many places, so on and so forth.
Either way, GLWS |

Man I love this build. The clutch is a little concerning, but I've never driven a 6puck before so I have no idea.
I'm trying to sell my truck, so if I can get some cash from that then I'd definitely be interested in checking this out! |
