Default testing EJ20G ignitor???

hello all. i'm looking for the proper resistances for the "diamond" ignitor from a 95 WRX RA with the two plugs on either end. 5 pins on the input and 4 pins on the output.

insight would be greatly appreciated.

the proper way to test a EJ20G ignitor is...

pull it off, toss it in the garbage, install a set of USDM coils with inturnal ignitors.

but if you want to keep yours, and its bad, i have an extra... PM me if interested.

lol nice.

well i just wanted to know because, i do have spark, but i don"t know if its just not strong enough or something to start the car... i don't know, i am at my wits end about this stupid car.

and thanks so much for posting the JDM wiring diagram for RA 20G motors. its how i found i had my fifth injector wired up directly to the main relay. oops

the wierd thing is, that it started that way, but won't now.

don't suppose you could take resitance readings of the ignitor for me.... pretty please??
