Performance auto solutions
Okay so i brought my car to Performance Auto Solutions in Bohemia, New York to have some parts installed and to have a tune done by Dave Brown. The parts were installed and the tune was excellent by Dave. I then had to go back to get a map updated and during that time it was in their shop and they claim “things fell onto the hood” and dented it in a few spots which they DID NOT tell me about when they left the car outside to be picked up at night. i noticed everything when i picked it up then i had to bring the car back again and they said they would take care of it at the body shop they use. A week later, i go to pick up the car and this is how it looks. They did not paint match the scoop and they said even if they painted it, it wouldn’t match whatsoever. I argued with the owner, Joe, for 30 minutes on it and he is not covering any of the repairs to get it repainted.
I am just writing my experience with PAS and i will not be returning to there shop. Very disappointed with the service from them. Would not recommend to anyone. Nothing against Dave Brown, he is a great tuner and can be used at multiple shops.

I also had a bad experience there. They tuned my car with a base fuel pressure of ~70psi....
picked up tons of feedback knock and fine knock learning values were 90% of the time not 0. tried to convince me it was all false knock when it clearly was not (linear decrease in values) -2 all the way to -12.. long story short they gave me a **** tune |
