How has your experience with these lateral links been? I've been considering either these or the Whiteline full set of front and rear lat. links. The construction and adjustability of them seems great for the track, so I have no doubts about that, what I'm really curious about is how they feel on the car for street driving. My car only sees the occasional track a few times a year, so I'm curious to hear your subjective analysis on them

Ironically they are still sitting in the box , I have a lot of changes I need to do for 2022.

I have been really lazy with work and school taking a priority over cars for now.

When I put a set of those links on my 04 WRX autox car, I had to shorten a couple of the inner adapter sleeves because they were significantly wider than the opening in the subframe. I was pressed for time, and it was easy enough to mill them down at work back then. I emailed them about them not fitting in the subframe and they were pretty dismissive. Measure them before you start if it's a daily driver.

First time seeing your thread. Amazing wagon. Thank you so much for that wide wagon writeup and resource list.
Pretty weird that I've never seen your site until today, after the hours I've spent researching this exact modification.. Lol

One of these days, my wagon will get the sedan treatment, too.

Swapped an upper radiator hose cause I absolutely hate the Greddy coolant temp adapter that leaks all the time.

Drove for around 150 miles this month burning off storage 93 octane , ready for some E85 this weekend

Sourced some forged style 32 wheels in 17x8 and 17x9 for my old E39 wagon as well , they need refinished cause some idiot tried to paint them E39 M5 shadow chrome and failed.

BMW got a minor suspension overhaul with new shocks , struts and tie rods. It actually drives pretty fantastic now. More little repair items being handled this week but its basically ready to be the daily driver now to keep miles off the VW.

Drove the bmw 200 miles this weekend up to Frankenmuth for a european car show called Nowo , car ran fantastic and got surprisingly good fuel economy.

No cooling issues at all and no noticeable oil consumption while cruising at 80-85mph.

Definitely need to overhaul all the rear suspension bushings next spring

Things that are being sorted out this fall

- headlight overhaul
- Brake line replacement
- Brake fluid flush
- finish rear brake job

Things to fix over the next 6-8 months / Parts to acquire

- Subframe bushings
- Rear control arms
- Differential mount bushings
- E38 comfort seats
- Spark plugs
- Coil packs

Had it from PRS for a year now

I had a brembo bleeder strip out on me today trying to bleed brakes for a track day tomorrow.

Likely going to put the car in storage soon and figure out a brake overhaul for spring or acquire another chassis for track duty.

Subaru is broken so I took the old bmw out to the track

Pretty sold on an E46 wagon as a dedicated seat time car and the Subaru will be the backup track car / street cruiser.

The '03 Bugeye is gorgeous and I'm really feelin' the wide body on this chassis. The wide body would look nice on my '05 Saab 9-2X Aero. There is something about watching a hatchback race around the track...much respect for your Bugeye wagon bro!!

Yeah it looks really good , harder to do on the Sabb chassis but still doable

I think I am going to just do a slow overhaul over the next two years

Going to overhaul the car over the next year or two , full interior and mechanical overhaul while driving it on the street a lot more.

Going to be acquiring an E46 wagon for pure track abuse and Wrx will be backup track car.

Selling my second set of 18x9.5 +45 Advan RG3 in gold along with some other associated parts

Advan RG3 18x9.5 +45 5x114 $2500 BNIB
Jun bumper $1500 BNIB

The wheels are a half inch wider than the set I currently have on the car if you are interested

Fixed the damaged brembo bleeder

Overhaul starts in spring with the 10 year anniversary of owning the poor wagon
