Default Help - Bugeye WRX to Hawkeye headlights wiring

Beend through hundreds of threads regarding the wiring for the this converstion, but to no avail. The people I have asked seem to keep it to themselves, its gold dust!

DOES ANYONE have a diagram of how to wire hawkeye STi lights to OE Bugeye WRX headlights.

This is the plug off the main loom which has 8 wires. I bugeye has 7 wires IIRC.

All help would be great.

My manual is the Subaru Impreza 2006 Model Year Wiring book, which was issued April 2005, and printed in the U.S.A.

So, I know for a fact that this manual has some pre-2006 items in it, but none-the-less, I'll give you what I have.

AFAIK, Subaru does not sell parts/portions of harnesses. You would have to buy a new harness or source one from a salvage yard or someone's part-out.

BAck to the top for this, lightwerkz sell the loom for this conversion, supposed to be the same as bugeye wrx lights to bugeye sti lights, is anyone using the LW loom and can confirm this?
Pics would be great.

I just converted my bugeye to a hawkeye and successfully made my own wiring harness that works well. I suggest using 14 gauge wire and a 15 amp fuse. Wago connectors work great for laying out the wire connections.

Great diagram for understanding connections. Jdubya also describes each one.

Now, on to the levelers...

Default Hawkeye to bugeye

This is my first post in this forum and as I do not have enough posts to create a new thread for this, this seems the most appropriate place where I can ask this. I have a 2006 wagon, with halogen headlights. I recently obtained a JDM bugeye front clip. This front clip has the JDM hid headlights and ballasts. I already have my plan for how I will install this front end but the major project it seems will be figuring out how to wire these headlights. I know that this inherently requires an HID wiring harness which Lightworkz sells. I just need to know if this is something that can infact be wired up to a hawkeye with non-hid connectors. Will the details in this thread just have to be reverse engineered or what? Again I know it would be better to create a new thread, but I don't want to just spam a bunch of bs posts to bypass the limit. I'm hoping this bumps this up and someone who knows a thing or two about subaru headlight wiring can respond and direct me in the right direction.
