Hello all! I just finished swapping my oem clutch in my 2017 WRX limited and had a question. I went with the ACT SB11-HDSS kit which has a new pressure plate with a lightweight flywheel as well, and followed all oem torque values for when re-assembling the car. Since I have access to alldata and oem service manuals, it made it easier. Anyways, I also referred to the ACT install video and realized they said to torque the pressure plate to 26 ft. Lbs, which is substantially higher than the OEM values. The video had M8 bolts but I realized I have M10 bolts. After I put it all together and test drove it, I realized the sheet of paper it came with said that the M10 should actually be at 50 ft. Lbs. Is this going to be a massive issue or can I just pop the starter out and gain access to one of the 6 bolts at a time, re-torqueing them? I realized the clutch in the video they used was a lower-grade one which explains the M8 bolts. Clutch feels excellent right now since I also switched out the fork and pivot for chunky billet ones.
