Scammer alert - CALL THE NUMBER FIRST
dema220
Going by Tiffany Escobar with Zelle email [email protected] GOOGLE PHONE NUMBER 727-266-2748 DM'd me after I posted in WTB, took a picture with my name & date next to the up-pipe requested, and made an excuse for not shipping before going dark.. Lesson learned, CALL THE NUMBER DON'T JUST TEXT If it's a google voice number, odds are it's a ****ing scam. I can see that they are active even today.. so watch out.. Karma is coming for them eventually but hoping to save someone else the hassle.. PS, is there no way to flag an account for this?

Can you clarify, did the scammer take a picture of the part he was selling you with his username and date ?
The way you are telling is not clear how that went. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |

I think the lesson here is to pay electronically that has buyer protection. With NASIOC, you can see if the seller has a history of good transactions and how long they have been a member. If it's only been a few months and they have no iTrader rating, then it's a scam.
I can't even find dema220. They either are already banned or they intentionally blocked people from seeing them. I've had that happen a time or two with "ghost" users. |

you can honestly bypass any sellers saying they take zelle. If seller doesn't want to use any money transfer that has goods and services just run even if the deal is to good to be true.

If people started threads like this for every scam of this type there would be no room on the forum for anything else. Instead of making these posts, please use the Report function to report the PM you received so we can see and deal with it.
And going forward, if you follow the advice in this sticky thread that has been above the Wanted section since 2013 this wouldn't happen- https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho....php?t=2457709 This is a common scam all over the internet on many, many sites not just here. |
