Default What should I store my mixed methanol in?

Hey guys. So I'm new to running meth, but had a bit of a scare today. I got into my car after it was sitting in direct sunlight/110f+ interior temps for the past day and a half, and nearly passed out from the fumes. The jugs I had in the backseat are covered in condensation, and my AEM tank has a little bit on it, as well.

The jugs I'm using for storage are type 2 HDPE(same that most washer fluid companies use), albeit they are the kind that the distilled water came in. Did I do something wrong here? Is there a better way to store it mixed?

Why would you keep extra in the car? Fill up the tank however often is required and store the rest at home. There's no reason to carry extra unless you're going on a long trip and will need to top off your tank before you get back home again.
