I've only run once at the 1/4 official, so I'm no expert.

I wish I would have had a bag of ice to put on the intercooler. Could have cooked eggs on it dragging then just sitting for next run.

2 gals toluene

How much do your wheels and tires weigh?

Manual boost control

Stock turbo""""

My rev limit is 7,400 via UTEC. Used it

Have you had a dyno tune?

well, I currently have the Subaru 17'' BBS rims, not sure how much they weigh. I dyno tuned it at 265. Im guessing its because I ran too much. I really need a IC sprayer. Would that do the trick and shave .8 seconds off 14.6?

256whp??? 5 spd man. You should be in the 13's easy. Go to time slips in the upper right - sort by track in you area .... You will see that 265 whp is running well under 14. I'm at 278 whp and had 18" wheels. Thing is I have always road raced. Heat soak was not a problem. But doing all out runs and then idling the car on a warm night drops you hp way down,

Bag o ice

2 gals toluene in a 1/2 tank. This is really not the place to discuss this. Go to the 1/4 drag section. I'm getting some lightweight 17' in about ten minutes.

Thought there used to be a time slip section up in the corner with search. Got to it before. Is it gone now?

I do it sometimes, but I'm not sure how effective it is if I remove the bags and inch forward in line for another ten minutes. This should probably have its own thread.

Most likely headers will do you no good. They have been shown to slow spool, don't exactly think that's what you want. Do a search before you spend the $$ to make sure it will help you towards your goals.

Wink 555 Subaru Impreza 2,0 WRX STi8 RCM

Hi
Some information from an Icelandic car modified by Roger Clark Motorsport in England.
Competition (Ten Of The Best 3) in England: Elvington, York, England, August 1st 2004:
60 feet: 1,659 sec
1/8 mile: NA
1/4 mile: 10,85 @ 119 miles

Competition In Iceland August 20th 2004:
60 feet: 1,757 sec
1/8 mile: 7,090 @ 102,5 miles
1/4 mile: 10,909 @ 130,44 miles

Best 60 feets: 1,565 sec.

Car: Subaru Impreza 2,0 WRX STi8 RCM (no nitrous)
Driver: Gudlaugur Már Halldórsson
Nickname: Gulli
Owner: Halldór Jónsson

I'm interesting to have information of all 1/4 mile times (below 11 sec.) you know of for Impreza + terminal speeds and 60 ft if available. Also interested to know if the car has manual or automatic transmission, nitrous or not and the size of the engine (2,0 or 2,2 or 2,3 or 2,4 or 2,5 or?).
I welcome any help or information.

Regards,
Halldór Jónsson

No high horsepower beast here, just the following on my 03 WRX 5sp:
-Gutted uppipe
-Stromung 3" downpipe w/ divorced wastegate tube
-Daddy's Third cat eliminator (3" tapers to 2.5")
-Stromung 2.5" midpipe
-Scoobysport single tip axelback
-STI TMIC
-APS 65mm CAI
-ECU tuned by Kingpin for above mods

I went to Sunshine Speedway in St. Petersburg, FL (1/8 mile) last night (11/10) and it was about 60 degrees. Here's my best run (I'm number 76 on the right against an 04 Mustang GT with a few mods):

Thanks,
Eric
