Fun fact when I bought it it still had original OEM clutch Interior is a time capsule, looks brand new. Still has airbag sticker tucked in the glovebox.

When I bought it I pulled the engine, resealed everything, heads rebuilt, new timing drive/water pump, new vac lines, new clutch, STi catless up pipe, Cobb downpipe, Perrin cat back and Cobb OTS Stg2 tune. Amazingly enough, stock short block is still going. Previous owner changed oil every 3K, the internals were/are amazingly clean.

I've actually been logging it and emailing files back and forth with Cobb. As far as we can tell, she is healthy other than a potentially tired Td04.

I really need to start a build thread on it lol.

very nice! can’t believe you’re on the stock tranny , i have a 2002 175k tranny blew around 90k

09 2.5i

164,000 miles and runs beautifully. First Subaru, bought last year. Needed fr. axles and t-belt. Don't see anything going wrong on the horizon. Just bought some Conti dws06s to replace the crap-in-winter Bridgestones. Bring on the Ohio snow. 30mpg and AWD!

Oh, and Paprika Red Metallic...Haven't seen another with this color. Love it

I have an 09 WRX premium with 174k miles as a daily driver. It's had a Cobb downpipe, magnaflow exhaust and Bully stage 1 clutch since 30k miles. It's had the firewall welds fixed. It still puts a smile on my face when I drive it.
Cheers!

06 WRX. Bought it 6 months ago completely stock at 140k miles. 145k miles now, far from stock. It's my first subaru, I love it.

I just picked up a 2020 WRX Premium w/ performance package after hunting a particular color choice down for a few months!

It's at about 375 miles of break-in right now. With the way I've been driving it, I think I may have accidentally bought a naturally aspirated WRX! Looking forward to the turbo waking up in about a month.

I'm up to 161,000, been everywhere on the east coast from mt washington to key west, currently in NC, essentially in the ocean. Rust seems to be very minor and under control. This coming from a car that has been maintained well and used daily. And I'm am in the saltiest and sandiest environment possible.
