Default Blitz BOV...

I installed a Blitz BOV (1st gen bov, with 2nd gen IC adapter).
And the BOV sound is not very loud, actually it's barely noticable.
Did I do something wrong with my installation?

why I know that it has to be louder is becasue I installed one in 02WRX, it was freaking loud...
installed one in 92 fc RX-7, 95 fd RX-7, very freaking loud...

so... please help me with some pointers! I know it's kinda hard to know what I did wrong with out being actually here or see some pics... but maybe be there's some common mistakes!

thanks!!

God,

Do you have any problem with your Blitz BOV on your STi? Rough idleing, stalling.....etc?

Reason I asked is I am planning to buy one, just want your opinion on it.

Is your Blitz BOV set up to vent 100% to atmosphere?

Thanks ahead.

God: do you have any picture of the BOV installed?

I currently have AEM intake/HKS large filter+BOV , and I'm running about 13-14 psi, does that sound right?

I don't have any problems with Blitz (except for the quiet issue),
no CEL, no rough, no ping... Perfect!

help help!

No rough idle. No stalling, (once I tightenned the spring a little). Pretty simple install. I would think the AEm intake will cause more problems with the car than the BOV. Yes it is set to 100% atmospheric. Car should run around 15 PSI.

which way are u facing it to, it should blow out at the driver's side
and if it's not loud enough, take off your hood linen, it'll be very loud with the metal enlarging the souind

God,

Thank you for the offer. I am buying one from this guy that got a new one and never used it, his price is $240 shipped to me. If you can beat that price shipped to me, please let me know.

The next item I need is some STi stainless steel braided brake hoses for my STi's Brembos. Please let me know if you got some or can get some.

I will keep your business in mind for the future.
