Why is Subaru so quiet on STi?
I see Mazda has been advertizing on RX-8, press reveiwing it, and many new live pictures are out there, but it won't be out till the same time as STi. Then why isn't there any noise about STi?
Thanks ..Ben

simple
Mazda is worried about being able to sell 10-15,000 RX-8's, and there company survival depends a lot on the success. Subaru is not worried about selling its STI's, and even if somehow it did flop, they company would not die. The RX-8 is for all intense purposes, a brand new engine and concept, not seen elsewher eint he world. The STI has been around for 10 years, has ore of a following. Wankel engines have never had the best track record for reliability, So it will take more convincing... basically, Mazda has to SELL the cars, while all Subaru has to do is put them up for sale. p-rex |

I like that that. Very bold! Let's hope these greeidy dealers don't turn people off. Is there a way Subaru can control their dealers? ..Ben |
