For sure man! Yeah I hear you, I've only been once and that was a while ago. I've been wanting to get back to some Subie specific meets in the area but am out of the loop of local meets. Are you located in the city?

Thank you! Need to get it clean and take some pics of the intake that I installed two weeks ago.

I'm in the suburbs of Philly (Mt. Airy, next to Chestnut Hill). There's a guy only a block from me with a 2015 WRX. And another guy a few blocks from me with a Arbath about to do a widebody on it. Should be good and ridiculous.
I'm not sure of what local meets there are but I would definitely like to be more regular, schedule permitting. (I'm starting a tattoo apprenticeship in the Spring, so my availability will likely go away come Spring).

Little update: Finally got my registration after 30 days of waiting since purchase. Got the car PA state inspected today along with emissions. Installed my DARE license plate and replaced the plastic license plate clips with new one since the stock ones were threaded with two different thread pitches and thicknesses.

Hoping to give the car another bath tomorrow and some pics of the intake. Expected freeze tomorrow night so this will be my last car wash until Spring unfortunately.

Thank you! Honestly, I never had plans of selling my '09 WRX. My trans was on the brink of going and I was doing some research and asking around regarding the cost of an STI trans swap.
I always figured I'd do the swap when it came time, but I never thought it was as expensive as it is. After I found out the cost, I didn't think that was the smartest use of funds.
So I ended up deciding to start over on an STI. I'm hoping to do a bit more genuine parts this time around.
No plans of rewriting the book by any means, just tasteful mods and a clean reliable car with some JDM goodness and some fun bells and whistles that we don't get here in the States.

That is a nice clean OE look. Any plans to replace the "pleather" shift boot with something better? That would step up the presentation a notch.

Plans are to get the STI center console wrapped in black alcantara suede.
Then short shifter.
Then make a decision on black leather or black alcantara for both the shifter boot and ebrake boot.

Thanks! I didn't have my real camera on me, so I took the shot with my iPhone.
That holder by the shifter normally holds my iPhone, but it was empty so I just set the AccessPORT in it to clean up the shot.

This is the holder:

Love the color and the hatchback format. Wish they would bring back this option on the new ones. Very pretty though. Congrats!

Valenti Jewel LED Tail Lamps

Excited these were no longer back ordered, just in the nick of time too with the new car purchase. Hoping to get them installed in the next week or two.

Just when I thought I had the exterior all dialed in. You bring these beauties into view. I knew nothing about Valenti, so thank you for the insight.

Finally got these installed the other week. Apologies for the lack of a write up, it was around 24 degrees when we installed them so I didn't get any install pics.

Where did you get the tail lights? Only able to find them on fastwrx but $640 for tail lights seems a bit excessive.

You have to pay to play. BNIB Japanese Import parts are always expensive. Especially quality parts like Valenti.

If you're not looking for excessive, go buy some vinyl overlays or ebay bull****.
