Just another update, I was able to get someone to clean up the flares. If anyway saw my original post a page or 2 back it was not very clean. After that I went back to one of the shops who didn't want to work with them initially cause the mold wasn't good. This time he was willing to fix it up and did a amazing job and in a super quick turn around. Not sure if I can promote a shop on here but if you are looking to get these flares done well in the NY area and are willing to pay a little bit of a premium, I suggest checking out Lito's Custom. Here are the pics of how the flares look now. Super excited to drive around and not be scared of the flare popping off

Good to read that this all worked out for you.

I have a set of original Karlton wagon flares for my STi swapped 04 WRX Sport Wagon. Due to adding a JDM sedan front end I ordered a pair of front sedan flares from SubyFlares. The customer service was great, but the product leaves much to be desired compared to the quality craftsmanship of my genuine Karlton's. To elaborate, the front bumper pieces that were sent were very hacked didn't match each other from side to side and didn't line up. I say the customer service was great because they sent out a new pair of the bumper pieces with no question. The overall issue is the second set wasn't much better. At that point I gave up, I'm too busy and can't be bothered. I can't even build up the motivation to install the piss pour products. So my wagon remains narrow and my 18x10 20 BBS LM wheels will be going up for sale soon. As great as the original Karlton's are they require enough (normal) prep for a good paint/finish. I just can't justify putting my own time into prepping the SubyFlares or extra (unnecessary) money that it will cost to have a shop prep them prior to me installing them. Pretty disgusted.

They work kinda.. it took some sanding on the rear to get them to fit. I ordered some off Amazon it had the adhesive on the inside to keep it in place.

This is before hardware was installed I need to paint where I had to sand again

Ya, fitment on the rears are horrible. Shop had to spend hours but it's still not good enough. Not very happy with it.

Front and Rears are rubbing, so had to raise it

Hope that helps

Just a heads up that the quality is no where near what it used to be. That is unless they have actually improved over the last year or so.

The front bumper pieces for 04/05 were terrible quality. They sent a second pair which was better, but still not great. I gave up after that.

I still also have a set of OG Karlton wagon specific flares. So, it's easy to see the quality differences when these are side by side.

Thats not at all what I want to hear

I just read through some old posts to get an idea of what wheel/tire sizes would look best (and to drool over some nice setups) and I see a lot of people complaining about the quality on the newer flares. Has anyone brought it to their attention that the quality has gone downhill? Ill definitely post pics of what I get when it arrives, they said it should be shipped sometime in june. I wont be having them installed until next summer at the earliest, hopefully if there is an issue theyll be able to help me out, but the flares I ordered are already a bit special, so they definitely wont have any replacements in stock for me
