Finally swapped out the polished lateral links with stock bushings and added the polished lateral links with TIC bushings. Butt dyno said, Meh.......LoL......but she does feel different.

Also found my exhaust leak, went to install new OEM gasket in the midpipe by cylinders 2/4 and another piece of old Grimmspeed gasket falls out. That kinda pissed me off, as I could have avoided this annoyance by replacing the gaskets when I had the midpipe off months ago.

Also had a little tire rub and found out that I did not evenly roll the fender on the passenger side rear. Upset with myself about that.......slightly damaged the tire sidewall when it could have been avoided.

So one day my underhood will appear clean and well thought out until then just bolting crap on.
Eventually the catch can disappears and the Crawford AOS gets installed along with the wrapped Spearco topmount. May get rid of the carbon fiber stuff if I can find a sheet of titanium look metal to copy the radiator closeout.

No updates in this thread for a while, boring.

But in other news, I did do another track day.

Target acquired, permission to pass his ass.

Thanks everyone. So this was the year to break appearance items. Broke my lip at the track and broke one of my acrylic headlamp covers. More pissed with myself about the headlamp cover. When I get the front bumper repainted, I will have them patch and paint the lip WRB.

Saabaru rescue project original engine had number 4 cylinder rod knock. When I picked it up in PA.

Waiting for time to install the replacement engine JDM 205 from JDM Racing.

Old engine versus new to us engine.

New to us JDM205 finally seated in car, now to dress it out and attempt starting.

Well yesterday wired car and installed JDM ECU. Won't be able to work on it again until Tuesday. Hope to start at that time.

(damn it's been 6 months)

Took me a year to get my swap fired up, the longer the wait the better it feels.
