Hello all. Buddy stopped with his very nice GT. Weather was nice so I cleaned up the garage. Been in talks with a company in the UK who will be supplying allot of carbon fiber for the interior. Working out turn around time and shipping. but here is a random shot for today.

so I gave it the treatment.

Cleaned up the mount and the wiring.

I ordered 295/30/18 R888's. Coming having to order 315's for my ZL1 and the SS I have become numbed to the price... My Wife hasn't though. The one thing I got going for me is that my Father owns a building that houses a tire shop which has rented from us for about 20 years now. So I can get some pretty good deals and they are really awesome.

Thanks man. As you know, its a process. Taking my time so its how I want it.

Here is the little progress I made today. Hopefully, I can throw some hours on my days off coming up.

I trimmed the front pieces that generally attach to the front bumper. I'm not too fond of the look of the full front flair. Also, this flair is meant for an OEM bumper. With that being said, the front section would not fit on the Cusco style lip I have.

I trimmed the flair to end just at the lower body line and led into the canard. In theory, this should help direct air up and over the flair. I still need to figure out a vortex generator to amount above the canard. I plan on making a piece out of fiberglass to pull it back into the bumper. Anyways here you go. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Disclaimer. I am learning how to apply functional aero as I go. I am trying. If you know anything about it, please let me know. I am trying to learn all I can.

Sorry I missed this... Yes all new. If you look closely they have Cobb printed on them. I needed them since all my lines and connection dry cracked.

some progress. Its been so hot hard to get much done.

RPG hood vent installed. I need to bond it to the hood still and find mesh that matches the grill.

Tinted the tails.

and the carbon interior came in after 4 months.

allot of cleaning and paint to do...

very loosely put in place.

Mishimoto oil cooler should be here tomorrow so I can address my leaking OEM oil cooler gasket that I forgot to change... 20 mile oil change anyone? Then I need to order the weld in cage, driver seat, rails, and seat hardware.

From my limited knowledge of aero, a solid piece behind the canard will mildly improve the area of low pressure.

If you still have the piece that you cut off, I think it would work to shape it into a triangle from side-view and glass in the back edge so it isn't "open" and looks like a solid part of the front bumper.

Hey stikid2005
We talked about this months ago.
Got my car back from IAG Collision Center and I can say they do top notch work. Very pleased with the entire experience. I'll be adding some images to my journal later. I updated my IG with some images. @got2boostit2

Yea so that sorta what I am thinking. The other idea is a part that comes up from the splitter once I figure that out.
