Default 97 OBS swap question

Hello nasioc community I have a question regarding my swap, hope someone can chime in. Here is my project. Ej22t stroker, Ej20k heads with custom pulley and intake adapters to run wrx IM and ECU. WRX harness merge by Iwire and a jdm 6mt all in a 97 OBS. Engine is almost ready to install and Im wondering what exactly is needed for the boost control? Do I just rob everything from the passenger strut tower off a wrx or can I just go straight to an upgraded boost control? Was considering the 02 and up from Grimmspeed but IDK if thats all that is needed. Thanks in advance

yea you can go with an upgraded boost controller, you will obviously have to get a custom tune for it since it will most likely be a 3 port and not a 2.

The boost controller will depend on the ECU, and more or less the solenoids are all the same, they just offer different plugs/mounting bracket depending on the year. If your using a USDM WRX ecu and harness then you can just have it tuned easily with that and use the 02-05 solenoid they offer.
