Default Subispeed V1 Headlights /Nameless CBE

(I have a 2016 sti)
I was just wondering if the Subispeed headlights gave you more visibility at night, compared to the limited oem sti headlights.
Also my midpipe on my nameless exhaust was rubbing against my drive shaft. Wondering if anyone else ever had this issue.

I'm not sure subispeed is on the recommended list (though i can't even remember where the recommended list is now) for subarus. Though its about the most likely site for you to find when searching google. It sounded like some folks have had bad experiences with CC information being exposed etc or something. Do your own research in that regard.

As to the lights, i tried LED lights from there that i've like alot. They didn't blind everyone else, and I notice a difference in distance that i can see at night compared to my standard bulbs. The pair i bought were OLM whites, and it was from Subispeed, but it was before i saw that people on here had a lot of trouble at some point with them. It should be noted i got the "eyebrows" and the daytime running lights. I haven't picked up the brights or any fog lights yet...I'll pick up fog lights at some point, and i may get brights at some point...but there are a lot of other things before i'll get the brights.

note: I drive a '16 WRX, not a STI.

Yes the Subispeed headlights are brighter than stock 16 LED headlights, with further reach and a sharper cutoff. But reliability and longevity is always at question with Subispeed. I've seen some sets with bad condensation.

My old Mishimoto catback rubbed my driveshaft before. You need to adjust the flanges and/or clamps along with the hangers. Or just remove and reinstall again but be mindful of clearance.

I have seen some people have issues with J-pipes and Mid-pipes that rub on the trans and shaft due to having stock trans and motor mounts that allow more wiggle and play expecially with a high opu. Quick fix is to get poly trans and engine mounts (iag or perrin work great) I run the Perrin ones along with their pitch stop brace mount etc.. I also have the Whiteline bushing. My 2016 WRX is running GS jpipe and Namesless catback with resonator with a Carbon Driveshaft (STI trans, driveshaft, axles, rear end etc.., so should be similar to STI setup as far as fitment from catback to rear end.

You are better off doing a projector retrofit in your OEM headlights for way less than the cost of a set of Subispeed lights, unless you REALLY like how they look that much.
