Default the ym piggy logo

Hi everyone - glad you like the pics!

For those wondering about the piggy logo - I come from a scale modelling background - so I guess my hobby is reproducing things to scale.

As some of you may know there are not many satisfactory-looking piggies to be found on the web -- so I combined the 3 best sources of the ym piggy logo that I cound find and hand drew a new cleaned up vector art of the piggy face and then mirrored for both left and right images. I paid careful attention to line thicknesses, smooth shapes, etc. IMHO I believe it is quite true to form.

Anyways, I then gave it to Edward (mgr) of Aberdeen Auto World and he did the rest -- turned out really nice actually. I think last time I looked, he had duplicated my piggy at least a couple of times and was selling on the usual rack of stickers.

Just talk to Edward, and ask for the WRC piggy. Tell them you talked to the guy who originally gave him the picture art. I already paid the custom scanning fee so it should be cheap for you guys

Cheers!

RC -

Aberdeen Auto World has three locations actually -
1. Metrotown Centre (near the Bay)
2. Yaohan (wings/mufflers/sticker cutting shop)
3. Yaohan (lights, gizmos, gadgets, etc. )

Either way, I think just give them a call and see when Edward will be at one of the locations and just talk to him. He was really nice to deal with IMHO.

Fukamoto - thank you! the lights are the often overlooked (IMHO) ORCIARI units from italy. They're great - solid 1/4" steel mounting brackets, Hella optics w/lowbeam projector, practically plug-and-play harnesses, and levelling motors too!

BTW - you know it's weird - I've been on NASIOC since the i-club days but never really posted till now. I still don't really know anyone either. I've waved before to other subarus but often only gotten blank stares and funny looks from my passengers =)

Cheers!

Yah, I know how you feel. I think I've only gotten one wave back from the hundreds I've given out. GC owners haven't been too friendly either, unlike what I was told the old days were like.
I get more waves from bikers

I think people are afraid to wave at me. And if they aren't, they should be.

I won't wave unless i notice that the car is done up. It could be 'mommy' just wanting to drive the kids to piano practice.

Oh.. i did honk at a girl driving a somewhat done up WRB 02-03 wrx... but she just kept driving.

maybe he saw my N1 and thought I'm a street racer

Have a Nice Day?

to tell you the truth, I'm not worthy of the i-club sticker with the way I drive

I just give people the stare if I see an i-club sticker...
