Can The Black Box by Turtle Wax be purchased locally? Like O' Reilly's or whatever?

And also OT: I had the foreman from the roofers that did our roof offer me $12k in cash for the Evo tonight. Hard to walk away from that much in cash (especially after paying the Evo off), but there's no way I'm letting it go for that cheap. |

Thanks Rusty. I saw that that's pretty much what reviews said. The point I appreciated most was that after you use normal wax there's all those little white residue that's left in the cracks and imperfections, but with black turtle wax those don't appear.
It's for my buddy that just bought a new used 2005 black Tacoma from Conti Nissan. |

I spent way more than I should've. They do quality work, but I'm sure there's cheaper out there. |

Subaru.com is awesome right now! 8 model line-up!!!
The WRX still has the most trims if you "view all vehicles". The BRZ and XV Crosstrek don't play around. Two trims and that's it! Premium, Limited, or go home! The Legacy used to come close when they had the GT in Premium and Limited and 3.6R in Premium. I believe they're still using 2012 models partially because the Tribeca was cut down to only being the Limited trim for 2013 from what I read. |

Wonder how well that peels off with clearcoat on it?

I was wondering the same thing, but since the clear coat is provided by the plasti-dip company I would have to believe that it would be fine.
On another note, I think mowing the lawn has become more of a woman's thing. I'll have to find an article about that. |

I was just reading up on STI headquarters in Japan. I was not aware that in the US STI releases parts under the "SPT" name. Kinda cool I guess. It might have something to do with marketing and keeping the price "lower" than if everything was just badged as "STI" parts? I dunno, but thought it was neat to know that they're basically the same thing.

To install longer wheel studs in the rear, people with wrx's and sti's have been able to succesfully pull the new stud in through the ABS sensor hole. I am wondering if this is applicable to a forester with rear drum brakes? To my knowledge it has 4 wheel ABS.
I just spent hours searching for the answer on google to no avail. I'm hoping that pulling the hub isn't the only choice... |

You know with all the rear lug studs that I have replaced I have never thought of doing it that way before. Next time I have to change one I am gonna give it a try

Well, you do have to either take some material off the stud head or enlarge the ABS hole in order to get the stud through (if using ARP extended studs), but from what I have read its no big deal.
I just need to figure out if thats possible on an older subaru with drum brakes. |

Has anyone tried Waze(iOS/Android)? Seems like it'd be pretty awesome for the people who drive a lot and need to get from point A to point B asap. Especially in those "whoah, hit the brake" areas.

I made an AKIC group for those interested in Waze.
